Oil’s new high - cars are out
I think the time of the car is over. There is no way, that everyone in the world can continue to drive freely like in the past 30 years. My analysis of world oil supplies is 25 years, however, that is more an absolute level. Demand is increasing not just because of cars but because of industry. Industry and modernization of the rest of the 5 billion people living outside of Europe and America. If we have 25 absolute years for oil we have about 5 years before oil gets to such high level that our disposable income can not afford using a car except for absolute necessity.
